Set a goal
Weekly or monthly activities invite small groups to reach daily or accumulative step-count goals.
A not-for-profit project
SJTU-Health helps people at Shanghai Jiao Tong University build an active, self-disciplined lifestyle—together.
SJTU-Health began in May 2015 with a group of enthusiasts, supported by the SJTU Faculty and Staff Union.
Thousands of faculty, staff, alumni, and students have benefited from sustained outdoor activity—sometimes through personal discipline, and often with the encouragement of fellow community members. The project turns a daily step goal into a durable social habit.
Weekly or monthly activities invite small groups to reach daily or accumulative step-count goals.
Phone and wearable data syncs to the platform. Individual and team fulfillment updates in real time.
Team leaders share updates, communities form, and energy points reward meaningful progress.
Each milestone unlocks one energy point. Points can be exchanged for small gifts in the SJTU gift shop.
Members developed an active and self-disciplined lifestyle, with sustained increases in everyday physical activity.
A shared belief emerged: an active lifestyle benefits everyone, regardless of age, gender, occupation, or health condition.
An open community
SJTU-Health is built on a simple idea: progress is easier to sustain when it is shared.
